Congratulations Sergeant Tara Oliver!

The C&E Branch would like to commend Sergeant Oliver for her being recognized as an Emerging Leader in the Women in Defence and Security Emerging Leaders program!

Sergeant Oliver stepped up in her role at the Joint Information and Intelligence Fusion Centre (JIIFC) on the Classified Information Systems (CIS) Team. During her time in leadership on the team she displayed effective leadership, initiative, and mentorship which lead to increased productivity. Her efforts as an emerging leader have been recognized in the WiDs Emerging Leaders program!

Sergeant Oliver was one of eight deserving C&E Branch Members who joined C&E Branch Leader, Brigadier-General Dave Yarker, and C&E Branch Chief, Chief Warrant Officer Alex Arndt on March 2nd, 2023 for breakfast at the 2023 Women in Defence & Security(WiDS) Awards Breakfast.

Women In Defence and Security is “a national not-for-profit organization that aims to promote and support the advancement of women in careers related to Canadian defence and security. Their networking and mentoring opportunities are designed for anyone at all stages of their careers and host free virtual and in-person events throughout the year to help establish and maintain meaningful connections in the community.
