SERGEANT SANDY PRATTE, CD WILL RETIRE FROM THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES ON SEPTEMBER 03, 2024 AFTER 33 YEARS OF LOYAL SERVICE TO THE RCCS AND TO CANADA.
MASTER CORPORAL KEITH HERNANDEZ RETIRED FROM THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES ON 08 JULY 2024 AFTER OVER 15 YEARS OF LOYAL AND DEDICATED SERVICE.

As your Communications and Electronics Chief Warrant Officer, I am proud to connect with each of you, celebrating our shared commitment to excellence in communications and electronics. As we settle into our new home in Kingston, we remember the sacrifices and dedication of those who came before us. We honour their legacy by continuing to push the boundaries of innovation and teamwork.

TONY ENROLLED IN THE CAF IN SASKATOON, SK ON 22 JULY 02 AT THE AGE OF 24. HE COMPLETED BASIC TRAINING AT SAINT-JEAN-SUR-RICHELIEU IN OCT 02. HE’S BEEN POSTED TO CFB EDMONTON BEGINNING HIS CAREER IN 1 BDE, SPENT MANY YEARS IN SUNNY WAINWRIGHT, SOME TIME IN 2 BDE AND BACK TO WAINWRIGHT FOR SOME MORE ENJOYABLE YEARS.AFTER BASIC TRAINING, TONY COMPLETED BASIC DRIVER TRAINING IN CFB KINGSTON BEFORE COMPLETING HIS QL3 SIG OP TRAINING IN JUL 03. HIS FIRST POSTING WAS WITH 1 SVC BN FROM JUL 03 TO APR 07. DURING THIS TIME, TONY DEPLOYED TWICE, ATTACHED TO 2 RCR AS PART OF OP HALO, HAITI FROM FEB TO JUL 04.
