AFTER MORE THAN 24 YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE, SERGEANT CHRIS RICHARD WILL RETIRE FROM THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES EFFECTIVE 27 OCTOBER 2023.
Master Warrant Officer Kevin Pugh will be retiring from the Canadian Armed Forces 16 November 2023 following a military career spanning over 35 years including service with the Royal Air Force (UK) and Royal Canadian Air Force.
Formation of a ‘History Working Group’ + Volunteers Needed The C&E Senate has approved the formation of a ‘History Working Group’, as presented by MGen (Ret’d) John Leech, President of the C&E Association, on 26 May 2023. The purpose of this Working Group is to act as a focal point to collect, encourage the development of, and make publicly available historical documents and projects of relevance and interest to the C&E Branch; including its precursors and their evolution. As part of its work plan in the coming year, the C&E Association will implement the formation of a C&E Branch History Working Group. The History Working Group will be comprised of members from our Branch Adjutant’s Office, Museum, C&E Association plus members at large whom maybe serving or retired or others just interested in our History. “History Working Group” is a value-add committee meant to coordinate history related projects by the use of volunteers and not burden working members of the Branch. We are looking for ‘history nerd’ volunteers on a national basis as working members of the History Working Group.
