Jim Holsworth, a member of the C&E Association, is part of a group organizing “Commemoration Cyprus 2024.” This event marks multiple significant anniversaries: 60 years of Canadian presence in Cyprus since 1964, and the 50th anniversary of the events of 1974. The commemoration includes a pilgrimage to Cyprus for veterans in November 2024 and an effort to collect extensive historical records. It has received high-level support from various organizations, including VAC, CAF, the UN SRSG, Force Comd, the High Commissioner, the Defence Attaché, and the Consulate for Cyprus.
