At the recent Board of Directors meeting on 26 November, Geoff Priems was elected as President and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Foundation. Gary Wolfman was elected as Vice-Chair. Both appointments were announced at, and came into effect immediately after, the Annual General Meeting on 28 November.
PIGEON MESSAGING SERVICE EXPOSITION AND THE 80TH ANNIVERSARY LIBERATION COMMEMORATION – ERRE, FRANCE
On 23 November 2024, the northern French town of Erre commemorated the 80th anniversary of its liberation during the Second World War. Home to just under 2500 inhabitants and nestled near the Belgian border, senior French government officials gathered to mark the occasion, including senators, members of French parliament, locally elected officials and citizens.
