Private Francis Lemay passed away at the age of 30 at the Haut-Richelieu Hospital in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, on June 8, 2024. His spouse was Mrs. Marie-Danielle Lafrenière, and the father of Finley Lafrenière Lemay. He was the son of the late Mr. Stéphane Lemay and Mrs. Linda Bourdages. He lived in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Formerly of Shawinigan. He is survived by his spouse Marie-Danielle; His son Finley; His mother Linda Bourdages (Patrick Demontigny); His sister Marie-Pier; His goddaughter Léa Paradis and his nephew Théo Paradis; His mother-in-law Sylvie Lafrenière (Steve Grenier); His brothers-in-law Julien and Thomas-Jaaxon Lafrenière and his sister-in-law Marilou Grenier; As well as many cousins, uncles, aunts, friends and colleagues in the Canadian Armed Forces. The family will welcome parents and friend (s) to the Coopérative Funéraire de la Mauricie 2280 105th Avenue Shawinigan (Shawinigan South sector) G9P 1P1 Welcome hours: Friday 5 July from 7pm to 9pm and Saturday funeral day from 11am. Obituary

George, Kenneth Munden MCpl, CD, 66  of Bridgewater passed away at home peacefully with much love given on 13 May 2024. He was the son of the late Munden and Helen George. He was predeceased by the sudden death of his daughter Lora on February 24, 2022. He is survived by his beloved wife Katherine George (Bennett), daughter Christina and Joseph Hill (Bridgewater); Sons Thomas and Jenn (Brooklyn); Steven and Kendra (Bridgewater) Adam Arenburg (Lora) Seabright; Much loved Grandchildren Autumn, and Vaughn Andrew, Scarlett, Penelope, Willa, Samuel, and Evelyn; Brothers Gerald and Doris (Ontario), Glen and Fran (Ontario) and sister Beryl (Alberta); Many nieces and nephews. He was born in East York Township which is now Toronto on 11 July 1957. He left the city in 1975 at age 17 to join the Canadian Armed Forces, other than normal duties he served 4 years in Europe with NATO, in the Middle East in the UN and also NORAD. Obituary

The world is left with a little less magic as we announce the passing of David William Johnson, an incredible husband, loving father, brother, son, uncle, dear friend, magician and soldier. David was a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces and a remarkable Magician at Kingston Magic Theatre and all over eastern Ontario and the world. David lived his life to the fullest every day with no regret, and encouraged those around him to do the same. David brought astonishment and wonder to others with a deck of Bicycle playing cards and his ability to make a connection with anyone through a sense of shared wonder. David was rarely seen without cards in his hands, and although he was Sgt Johnson, most referred to him as the Magic Man. David was a wonderful, loving husband and father who cherished his family. He will always and forever be loved and missed by his beloved wife of 16 years Lindsey and their two beautiful children Nicholas and Katie.
